Located just 12 km. to the northeast of the city of Madrid, it is the biggest point of transports connection in Spain and the sixth in Europe. The Terminal 4, in the picture, was designed by Richard Rogers and Antonio Lamela and received numerous awards, including the Stirling Architecture Award.
